Scorpio Career Paths

As Scorpios, we can do anything we put our minds to, but sometimes our characteristics will lead us towards certain career paths over others. Here are 5 careers that Scorpios would thrive in.

1) Detective/ Investigator

There’s no doubt about it; Scorpios like to know things. We like to have a mysterious side to ourselves, but when it comes to anything else, we don’t want anything left unsaid. We are determined to get the information we need to solve just about any mystery. A Scorpio would stop a nothing to be able to crack down on whatever situation is going on at the time. We are also known for paying extreme attention to detail, which would be an important skill for anyone to have if they want to go into either of these fields. Along the same lines, Scorpios would also be great at working undercover and observing others from the sidelines without ever being noticed.

2) Surgeon

This one goes back to our love of detail and seeing things that not everyone else can see. In order to be someone as important as a surgeon and to put someone’s life in your hands, you must be able to pay close attention to every detail. Scorpios would also be good as surgeons because of our high level of patience. A Scorpio would not just give up because something went wrong, they would keep going until they got it right, or at least do everything they could to try. If, unfortunately, something did go wrong, a Scorpion surgeon would not freak out. They would keep their cool and continue doing what they needed to do.

3) Writer

A Scorpio would make the perfect writer. Our best subject in school tends to be English. We are often better at writing things down versus verbally speaking our mind. Writing is a great way for Scorpios to get their ideas out without actually having to say it out loud. We also have a creative side that would allow for some very entertaining stories about whatever comes to our mind.

4) Journalist

Combining the idea of becoming an investigator or a writer, a journalist would be a great job for a curious Scorpio who will do anything to get an answer out of someone. Journalists also need to have the willpower to keep going until they find the answer they are looking for. Scorpios also have a way of putting things together without needing to be told every little thing. Our intuition is rarely ever wrong, therefore, we would know which way to go and who to ask for the right information.

5) Organizer

Scorpios are great at staying organized. All we need to do is find a system that works for us and stick to it. An organizer could be anyone from a manager, director, or an event planner. Again, being able to pay close attention to detail comes in handy in these fields when having to put together events or manage a business. Scorpios also value trust, which is important in any of these five careers so people know they can depend on us and what we say.

If I have known one Scorpio chemist, I have known a dozen. Or more. 🙂 They are brilliant pathologists, also. If you need an autopsy done, you want it done by a Scorpio pathologist. No one can come even close to matching them. They are relentless in their efforts at uncovering the truth.
